Life is Strange!
There is no standard for human nature. And this strange life even makes it more complicated. Yestreday's lover is today's enemy and today's enemy is tomorrow's friend. People change, things get misunderstood and then clarified (or not) actions get misinterpreted, sometimes we see things as we want to see them not as they really are. A painful past experience can keep haunting you forever and changing your perceptions of everything, you start caring for things you never noticed before and you tend to ignore things that used to be priorities and the list is endless....
It is a strange life that we have to live till the end, do we have a choice?

No we don't have a choice, we have to live and wait for the end and here exist the PAIN.
I know what you are talking about ya mito, you're not alone in this believe me you're not but you're so sensitive so that you can feel it more than other people and you are more so talented that you can display it with your words. as you said before life is a journey and you cannot choose when to end it so live it and try to enjoy it, don't deny that there are some wonderful things in life, walla eh?
We don't have the choice of living this life or not. But we have the choice of opening our eyes to the small things that happen here trying to understand. And as you said, some things will be clarified and others will not. We have the choice of letting go of haunting past experiences (bit by bit). We have the choice to accept that others are different from us, appreciate the small beauties, and learn how to live with pain.
I just hope that we choose the right path!
Socrates called himself a Midwife for Souls.. I never heard of easy birth.. I think if you live a static life where people come back to you in 15 years and find nothing changed then you aren't really living my friend.. each transformation is a birth.. and you cannot have outside the womb the same friends you had inside it.. nor is the light outside the same as inside..
do newborns enjoy being born? it sure doesn't seem so.. yet they soon learn to love life..
